Making the voice industry an industry where people can make a living
and give security to the dreams of future generations.
Based on this Purpose, we are committed to
By bringing a three-way approach to the world of voice
We will build a system that is even more useful to society
create an environment where more than 50% of the industry can make a minimum living.
We will be a bridge between creativity and society,
making the world a place where good things reach where they are needed.
Collaboration rather than competition
Be a video production partner
Flexible to your needs
Become friends with all people and organizations
Creating a system for mutual referrals, both internal and external
I originally worked as a talent affiliated with a voice-over agency, but then I became independent and started working as a freelancer, mainly in narration.
At that time, I had no business connections from my time with the organization, so I worked hard to make a living and managed to bring my average monthly income from voice work to just under 300,000 in one year.
I was just barely getting by. I was moving around a lot during that time, sometimes getting to know more than 100 people in a week.
In the midst of all this, I have met many times with generations of mothers with minor children, and they often tell me how much they enjoy it.
She said, "My child is now attending a voice actor training school (vocational school) too!
I usually respond with a smile and say, "I see," but since I believe that 10% of the total population cannot make a living in this industry, I feel inwardly that it would be better not to..., and despite the fact that I am in the industry, I could not make a recommendation.
To be honest, I thought it was not going to work like this.
After several such incidents, I wanted to create an industry where at least 50% of those who are really working hard can earn at least a minimum income! This desire grew stronger and stronger.
With this in mind, we decided to create a system where players who work independently as "business owners" in the true sense of the word "collaborate," rather than compete, to better serve society and make it easier for us to do our own work. The Free Narrators Union was born on November 17, 2017 (initial 7 members).
The player side will find it easier to find a place where they can utilize their strengths, and the production side will find it easier and less stressful to find the right voice for the right project at the right time.
My current philosophy is to establish a mutually beneficial relationship between the voice industry, the video industry, and eventually the creative world, and the Free Narrators Union is the basis for this.
Recently, we have been receiving requests for casting consultation in various genres other than narration, and we also pitch projects to outside entertainment agencies and casting companies with whom we have good relationships, and we cooperate with each other in casting.
In addition, each member brings their own connections to the table, and the Free Narrators Union as a whole has numerous business partners, and if it seems that we can provide mutual benefits to each other, we are working on forming even deeper partnerships. (I myself consider video production creators to be my colleagues who create the same work, so I personally accept video production projects on consignment and coordinate with other production companies that match the project, and I am considering further strengthening the system by combining these efforts. We are thinking of further strengthening the system by combining these two.)
I believe that we can collaborate with both companies and individuals in the same or different industries, and that this will lead to further mutual development.
If you are interested in promoting the world of voice and creativity, or would like to form an alliance or joint venture with the voice world, we are always open to hearing from you.
Of course, we are also happy to consult with anyone who exactly needs a "voice" right now.
Let's make something good together!
